Intuitive interaction

When the tactile force feedback device is used in the Geomagic design and virtual sculpting environment, the designer can interact with the 3D model and perceive the model, just like designing on physical clay. Interactive clay carving tools are like carving in the real world, making 3D design more intuitive. When the cursor interacts with the three-dimensional model of the virtual space, 3D Systems' patented haptic force feedback device cleverly uses a motor to generate power, pushing the designer's hand to simulate the sense of touch. The 3D Systems force feedback device can provide 3 degrees of freedom (DOF) or 6 degrees of freedom (DOF) force feedback according to the model.

Geomagic Freeform®

The industry's most comprehensive free-form organic 3D engineering tool, combined with tactile-based 3D engraving design, surface modeling, design intent modeling, 3D scanning processing, CAD interoperability and mold manufacturing.
